Each set comes complete with Reclaimed Slate burner with pads to protect surfaces and 7x solid sods made to burn easily and slowly to fill your home with the original smell of an Irish cottage.
Produced on our farmhouse in Silverbridge in the Heart of South Armagh, you can recreate the smell of rural Ireland in your own home without even owning a fireplace!
With our Incense turf sods placed on the Bangor Blue Slate burner and ignited, you will soon be transported back to the old Irish cottages, where warmth and cooking of food were provided by the open fire and sods of turf burning within.
This incense has been specially designed to be easy to ignite with a lasting smoulder that will fill the room with the distinctive smell of an open turf fire.
Each turf sod should burn for approx. 35-45 minutes.

I purchased this strictly out of curiosity and I am so glad that I did :) I had always hoped to travel to Ireland, specifically Lurgan, N. Ireland where my Mother was born and raised but that just wasn't in the cards. So, I'll light a stick and enjoy the aroma that had kept many of my past relatives warm and sane. I was born and raised in Lurgan before moving to South Armagh a few years ago, perhaps our ancestors maybe crossed paths! :)
We have an inbuilt fire which looks real enough but lacks that real fire smell and cosiness.. The Irish turf incense is the missing part of our ambience....When lit it completely adds an authentic log fire smell to our home and I love it! The little basket that the 'logs' come in is a great way of keeping the 'logs' neatly by the fireplace and I light them everytime I put the fire on. Great product!
